The deck uses a theme never used before (Magick throughout English history) in a dynamic graphic novel drawing style. And -here’s the kicker for everyone interested in something extra original: every card holds secrets to a puzzle. I got the chance to see if I could fit the pieces together and test this divination tool.

Tarot Mysteries; Rediscovering the real meanings of the cards has been out there for the better part of the 21st century. Red Wheel/Weiser has just reprinted Jonathan Dee’s book and state his tarot guide stil has something new to offer in the sea of Tarot books. So, let’s see if it indeed does that.

Let me start by saying that I am sure reviewing a deck like Tabula Mundi nox et lux should actually happen over time. The deck is so multi-layered it is a shame I can’t tell you all I will discover. However, knowing that designer MM Meleen is working hard on Colores Arcus, the colored version of the Tabula Mundi, and hopes to launch her second Kickstarter either on the Vernal Equinox or at least around May makes for excellent review-timing.
