About The Queen’s Sword

So, who is this Queen, the reviewer?

As far as I know there’s no real blue blood running through these veins, but astrologically I am the queen of the jungle and I identify myself with that very misunderstood Queen of Swords in the tarot deck.

So, in regards to the name of this blog, now you know where it came from. Besides of course the obvious link to the mighty pen and sword, there is the fact that the suit of swords in tarot is all about thought, communication, writing and education too. Very fitting for a blog full of reviews about books and decks, tips and recommendations on divination podcasts, tarot paraphernalia, interviews and more articles on tarot and other cartomancy. The world of divination, self-empowerment and spirituality has a lot to offer and I’d like to show it to you.

As for my background: I have degrees in both journalism and history and 20 years of experience as a professional writer and editor. I have been studying a lot of things related to mindfulness and healing, have been reading tarot for several years now and mostly do e-mail readings since I cater to an international audience. As I will hopefully do with this review blog too. I am working on getting a diploma in counseling so I can focus more on tarot (and oracle) therapy to help people change their lives for the better with these lovely 78 cards. So, I am royally prepared to write reviews and articles…

If you have any questions about sending in material for reviews or tarot sessions, do not hesitate to contact me.
