If you were on the look-out for a set of hand-painted tarot cards and want a deck that can be used for self-discovery I urge you to browse by the Kickstarter page of Pagan Otherworlds Tarot by Uusi. Uusi is known for their playing cards with a similar style (Pagan poker deck), but they have now turned this into a a very earthy lovely painted tarot deck. Tarot of the Imagination (2 decks)
Decks , Review , Tarot / 12 November 2015

As a tarot collector it’s always a pleasure when you’re able to buy a deck that is out-of-print. Especially if you haven’t been reading since the 70s or live in an environment where non-mainstream decks aren’t easy to obtain, chances are there are a lot of Tarots that later on catch your fancy but that are simply no longer available. Unless you are willing to pay a handsome sum of course. Quite recently I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Tarocchi dell’ Immaginario – also called Tarot of the Imagination -by Ferenc Pinter. Until the postman actually arrived with the package and I forgot all about secret organizations. I won’t say it is ‘the deck to rule them all’, but it definitely…

The Llewellyn Tarot | Review
Decks , Review , Tarot / 28 October 2015

There are decks, that once you open that box and hold the cards in your hand something special happens. It doesn’t occur often, even if you have a huge collection, but when it does a deck like that becomes the go-to-wonder or the answer to ‘what would you take with you if you got stranded on a deserted island’. The Llewellyn deck by Anna-Marie Ferguson is such a deck for me and if you’re a fan of RWS-inspired tarot cards you should definitely check…
