I’ve been thinking to add to video reviews to my website for a while in special/certain occasions. What better deck to try this with than The Tarot of Eons. This tarot deck is the first major artistic project of Vadim Temkin, a programmer, digital artist and lover of tarot.
Since the images of Tarot of Eons are created in 3D, Temkin is looking in…
Creating a deck based on a system that is mostly unknown outside of Germany and Austria and add animation? You could view it as a tricky move, but if you’ve already almost sold out your first print run and publishers want to mass market it (2016), maybe not so much. It seems like Kipper, Fin de Siecle, is another one of Ciro Marchetti’s successes – with most likely many following in his footsteps. So, should you try to get one and/or wait impatiently for the mass….
Interesting Kipper tutorial, especially when working with Ciro Marchetti’s new Kipper deck. Fortune Buchholtz worked on the LWB for the deck and in her YouTube channel she explains several ways of reading. In this example the line of 5. Easy-to-follow. Besides spreads she has several videos on history. Sometimes items can be a little long or she doesn’t get to the point immediately, but not too troublesome. Very useful video’s! Myths and mythology linked to daily life. Ask Richard Hartnett and he’ll do it for you. And there’s even tarot in there! Quantum Spirituality just started with these video’s on myth but I’ve already seen two interesting vlogs, about vampires and zombies. Food for thought in a lecture-ish way. He reminds me of one of my old history professors, but don’t worry; not snoring-inducing. He also uses loads of other resources to reference, in case you are inspired. Ciro Marchetti has a new deck coming out at the end of October, so the ones who ordered can expect a deck around the beginning of November. He’s designed an oracle deck based on the German system of Kipper cards. Marchetti’s kept the main system and numbering but added a few cards. Also, the visual setting is in the Victorian age. The designer has done something remarkable though; if you hold your smartphone over a card you’ll get to see an animation.
